Liquid is pleased to welcome Chris Eccles to our team as Commercial Director. Chris will be working to take the company to the next stage in its growth and development, following on from its investment earlier this year. He will be working closely with MD, Matt Holmes.
Matt said, ‘Chris is fairly unique in terms of being highly experienced in both sales and marketing, within the ERP accounting software field with an accounting background. He’s exactly what we were looking for to help us achieve our projected sales and drive business growth. He’s been there and done it and can help us do it too!’
After 10 years as an accountant in industry, Chris’s love of technology, and desire for a new challenge led him into IT sales. He went on to build up his own successful software business which he sold in 2006, staying on as MD for a further 2 years. Since then he has held a number of transitional and board level roles which included selling a specialist software company to accounting giant, Sage.
Chris said, ‘I was delighted to be approached by Liquid’s Chairman, Richard Doyle and asked if I’d be interested in working with them. I first heard about the company a couple of years ago and was impressed by what they’d achieved. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to be involved in helping an already groundbreaking and market-leading product to achieve its potential.’
