This is a FULL, LIVE TRIAL OF THE SOFTWARE allowing you to see and try out exactly what you will get if you decide to continue with your subscription at the end of your free trial. However, this means that we need certain details from you from the start:

The year end date for your company (ie. the date that your tax year ends)
Your VAT number if you are VAT registered
An active email address (to receive your confirmation emails when you have completed your sign-up)
Valid bank accounts details (to set up your payment by direct debit if you wish to continue with your subscription at the end of your 1 month free trial)
Some ideas for secure passwords for your both company and you as an administrator
A special offer code or reseller code from your Liquid Partner (if applicable)

There are 6 steps and it takes about 5 minutes to register, but the good news is once you've done it, that's it: you can start using your software immediately and can continue to use it once your month's free trial is over. This means that you can try Liquid out for real and see how it can benefit your business.

At the end of the registration process you will be given a reference number (that you can use if you have any queries about your sign-up or subscription) and a randomly-generated secure company code. You will need this code together with your company password, name and administrator password in order to login to Liquid Accounts for the first time. You can use the link on this page to do this, or use the login button in the top right hand corner of the website.

You will also receive an email confirming all your login details.

Your subscription will automatically start from the end of your trial (unless we hear otherwise) and each month's subscription will be taken from the bank account provided by direct debit (either on the 14th or 28th of the month).

Our Direct Debits are collected by London and Zurich plc and this is what will appear on your statement. You will receive written confirmation of your Direct Debit from London and Zurich and email confirmation from Liquid Accounts.

You will receive an automated invoice from us each month by email.

And remember because you're only tied in to one month at a time, you can cancel or change your subscription at anytime.

As soon as you've completed the sign-up process and have your company code, you can login and start using your Liquid package. At this point, if you haven't had a webinar with us, we would recommend booking one, to give you an overview of the software and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Once you've logged in, you can access our integrated 'Help' which is made up of a series of bite-sized, easy-to-understand guides and videos (most of which can also be found in the 'Help Centre' on this website.

Before starting to use Liquid Accounts there are several things you may want to do:

Tell your accountant or bookkeeper that you've signed up for Liquid Accounts, and ask them to sign-up for a FREE Client Manager account to allow them to access your accounts and work with you. If they already have an account with us, you can simply give them your company code and ask them to add you to their package.
Add your bank account details
Set up an invoice template – you can do this yourself or for a small one-off charge we can do this for you

And if you have already been doing your accounts on a spreadsheet or another accounting package, you will need to:

Add an opening balance
And/or import your existing accounts – again, we can do this for you for a one-off charge.

You may also want to set your own invoice numbers, choose a non-standard VAT scheme, or set your own nominal codes and your accountant should be able to advise you on this or any of the points above.
